The valorisen printed publication of Municipality Serres "Serres: past and present" acquired h its present digital substance and becomes thus still more functionnal, and easier to find by every citizen.

Moreover, the digital reproduction and disposal of present of "guide" of Serres have minos cost and it now can be transported easily, can be developed ,can presented to friends and become property of each citizen or other person that wishes to be explored in the history, in the folklore and the surroundings of our place.

With this innovation, we hope that young readers will be attracted also , now that the guide became accessible in the new reading habits of our season.

We want to believe that with the present digital publication of the history of Serres., we scope the continuous effort of wide publication it.

We owe to thank the personnel of the Laboratory of informatics technology of the department of Mihanologjas of T.E.I. Serres that afforded the know-how and technology for the production of this artistic CD and as well as the members of administration of D.E.P.K.A. ( Dr Petros Samsaris and Dr Georgios Pasxos) that had the idea and the redaction of new present publication.
