10pt;\">\u201cKolibarov\u2019s List\u201d: preparing the deportation of Greek Jews from Serres and Nea Zichni on March 1943\u00bb<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; text-indent: 1cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: 10pt;\">The paper\u2019s keystone is the preparation of Greek Jews\u2019 deportation from the region of Serres that has led up to their arrest on the 4<sup>th<\/sup> of March 1943. Among the other Bulgarian archive sources that will be presented, the list of Serres and Nea Zichni Greek Jews drafted and signed by Serres Police Chief Kolibarov a few days before the police and military operation of the illegal capture, detention and transport of Jews first to Bulgaria and then to the extermination camp of Treblinka in Poland is of central importance. The list gives important details for Jewish families a short while before their deportation.
