font-family: times new roman,times;\">\u00abThe Koniaromachalades of Menikio mountain (Buz da\u011f)\u00bb<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: times new roman,times;\">The Koniaromachalades of Menikio mountain (Buz da\u011f) At a distance of approximately 7 km northwest of the village Anastasia of Municipality of Zichni (Serres, Greece), there are saved three abandoned settlements of Giourouki (Y\u00f6r\u00fck)-Koniari: the Zihna Mahalas (Zihna Mahala), the Serriot&#8217;kos Mahalas (Siroz Mahala) and the Orta Mahala (Orta Mahala). In this paper we study the morphological and architectural characteristics of these settlements (houses, religious buildings, outdoor structures, cemetery) and the environment (natural terrain, natural resources, roads, relationships with neighboring settlements).
